Zakharov Serhii
(Born 1967)
Famous ukrainian artist, performer. Born in Donetsk. In 2014 he helped create the “Myrzilka Art Group” in Donetsk. He placed mocking and satirical works of art in the streets of the occupied city, aimed at the militants of the “DPR”. Now Zakharov Serhii lives and works in Kyiv and participates in rehabilitation projects for former prisoners, captives and the military. In 2016 he co-organized the art group “UKRMAKROVSESVIT”.
He worked with the Donetsk Art Foundation IZOLYATSIA, which focuses on preserving the memory of Donbas and its reintegration into Ukraine, and the Platform for cultural initiatives in Kyiv.
