Ratoshniuk Svitlana

Svitlana Ratoshniuk (b. 1975) is a Ukrainian artist. She graduated from the graphic design department at the Kyiv industrial Professional College (1993). She works mainly with textiles and sculpture, combining in her artistic practice her fascination with ancient Ukrainian embroideries, Indian woven products, etc. She has participated in group exhibitions at the Kosyi Kaponir Museum in Kyiv (1994), the  International Symposiums of Contemporary Art Biruchiy in Poland (2016) and Zaporizhzhia (2021), Art War, Biruchiy — Transcarpathia 022 (2022) and Records of Resistance in Germany, and the Art Armor project (2022). Co-author of the Sorry project at Burning Man 2018. In 2021, the artist's solo exhibition ‘Tears of Guadalupe’ was held at the Zhovid The Residence).
