Poderv’yanskyi Les

Born in 1952 in Kyiv. Graduated from the Republican Art School named after Taras Shevchenko (1968), the Kyiv State Institute of Fine Arts (Department: easel and monumental painting, graphics, theater painting; 1976). Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1980). Took part in many group exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad. Holds personal exhibitions. His works in the sphere of scenography were awarded the prestigious prizes “Kyiv Pectoral” (1993, 1995) and “Kintakt-95” (Torun, Poland, 1995). Artworks are kept in the National Art Museum of Ukraine, “Kyiv Art Gallery” National Museum, Wisconsin State University (Plattevillian, USA), and many other state and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
