Adzhyndzhal Akhra

Ukrainian painter, graphic artist and art historian. Widely known outside Ukraine. Works in the genres of still life, landscape and nude. Was born in Abkhazia. Since 1983 takes part in exhibitions all over the world. Lives and works in Kyiv since 1993. Actively engages in public discourse on contemporary art and culture. His works are in many museum collections in Ukraine, galleries and private collections in Abkhazia, Austria, France, Greece, Germany, USA, Ireland, Italy, Holland, Canada, Switzerland and Japan. The paintings are minimalist, while the recognisability of the artist's handwriting is absolute, which is evidence of the author's mature style. The works were presented at the Dukat and Goldens auctions (Kyiv).
