The Dukat Auction House was founded in 2008. The main areas of activity are the art of the first half of the XX century, national unofficial art of the 1950s–1990s, and contemporary art. In 2016, Dukat presented the country's first rare and antiquarian book auction “Ukrainian Book”. Dukat always announces the best price offers on the Ukrainian auction market and provides top quality services according to the standards of the leading international auction houses. The success of the chosen strategy is evident by the sale of over 50 % of the lots at every auction, as well as by the sale of lots for 100–150 % of the starting price.

Aside from the auctions, Dukat regularly organizes significant cultural events and art projects. The team of the Dukat Auction House includes professionals who ensure a most thorough selection of the works and provide top-level consultations. Leading art scholars of Ukraine, museum workers, as well as consultants of international expert organization are involved in the attribution process for the works presented at the auctions.
